Fort Bertrand d’Orgeron (also known as Fort Cap-Rouge) is a historical French-colonial fortification located in the northern region of Haiti near Saint-Louis du Nord. Named after Bertrand d’Ogeron, the first governor of the island in the 17th century, the site holds immense historical and untapped cultural significance.
